Water Color on Cold Compressed Paper

Water color is a wet medium used by diluting water soluble raw colors in water and painted on a paper. Generally a cold pressed paper is used. Colors are generally in tablet form and brush is used for diluting colors.

Water color is difficult medium as almost no rework is possible. It also needs a wet condition and therefore need to be completed generally in a single sitting. Due to fluidity of color, controlling the unintentional flow, spread and smudge are the challenges.

Various techniques such as wet on wet, negative are used by artists to express.

My water color creations are very few and I just realized, I need to add on to my portfolio.
