Oil Paintings

I started my first oil color while in high school. I had seen a painting of my friend's Mom that inspired me. Switching from poster colors was big change - change to adolescence. I started painting abstract inspired by Pablo Picasso.

I switched back to realism much later, after my marriage. Oil colors remained my favorite medium though as I could finish it in several sittings, much convenient for one who would only get time at night. I would paint for an hour or two before the next sitting. I was touring extensively those days and regular sessions were not assured.
